It was a narrow win, but felt terrible - one of the worst days ever.
I agree. I felt hollow at the end of that game. It was like they had suddenly taken a great piece of St.Kilda FC tradition away from us and we'd never have it back again. Bastards!

Add insult to injury for me, I had a kick of the footy after the game and some piece of s*** ran off with my brand new Sherrin. Not a fond memory.

I believe he's been recruited to Level 1 - Aisle 29. Keep your ears peeled next year. The mouth from the South is back!!

I used to stand with Jack Barker on the wing and enjoy a few pies and a beer.

I always remember a song sang at st.kilda cheers squad.

Something like this......

bullsht-bullsht-it all sounds like bullsht to me to me !

They use to sing it over and over when a decision didnt go our way.

Cheers

Certainly lost something that last game against Fitzroy.

I stopped at the ole girl the other day. Took a walk round the ground. The last bit of the Huggins is about to come down.
It was nice.

But I eventually pondered as I looked around,...couldn't they have left something? Windsock maybe, even the scoreboard....
Then it might not feel like a part of me had been erased so much.

I always remember the bloke who would stand at the back of the outer at Moorabbin and shout "Go Sainters" in a voice so deep it sounded like Barry White down a well.
