... and we will move past the Dogs to be the Number 1 behind scorer in the comp for 2017.

In terms of goals we are 85 goals behind Adelaide at #1.
So if we score roughly 100.8 608 tomorrow we will top the goals and points tables.

8 behinds?
ON recent form, we should meet that goal by quarter time.

I was hoping we'd kick ass this year. I guess that's as close as we'll get.

Bad kicking is bad football, and sorting a problem like that out is why you have specialist coaches- in any sport. Our forward line this season has not worked well as a unit anyway, regardless of poor goal kicking skills. Looks like a massive fail in part of the coaching structure this season.

Yep, got number 1 spot.
Took till the last qtr as Bruce's shots kept going out on the full.
At least Dunstan kept us in the hunt with two early posters.

Fantastic effort by the boys.
Special mention needs to go to our forward coaching staff.
I'm sure they all partied long and hard at Seaford last night.

Hopefully next year we can do even less goalkicking practice and put daylight between us and the rest of the comp so we don't have another nailbiting end to the season.

I'm hoping some of this is down to the confusion over whether and when Rooey was part of the forward structure. If he'd been able to play all year on the wing, communication might have improved up there.

I was flabbergasted that our scoreline was 9 goals 9 behinds at one stage yesterday. In terms of accuracy we seemed to be switched on far more than usual.

But for the love of God, this really needs to be amended in the off-season. It basically cancelled out our finals aspirations this year.
