I'm glad to see the Saints doing something for Sean. I can't say I knew anything about him when we got him but he proved to be one of the best value trades that we've done. Became an incredibly consistent, valuable player who rarely lowered his colours.

Strange doing it today given its Roo's farewell tribute game. Should've been done at the WCE game

i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.

Probably why they are doing it at Quarter time when Roo will be busy.

PS: All farewell should today in the last Home Game.

Probably the only good thing Ross Lyon did for the saints
And Sean certainly showed more loyalty to us
Can't think of a more honest consistent, hard working durable, and fair player for the saints

Was absolutely thrilled to see Shinner out there yesterday. It had really pained me that he hadn't had any form of send off, and I had assumed that was what he wanted. Whilst it would always have been better for him to be carried off the ground by his team mates after a win, it was very satisfying to be able to stand and cheer. Good clubs don't just let their stalwarts disappear, so thanks to the club for sending him off.

Thanks Shinner for a magnificent contribution to our club.

And feel free to have a few sons as well as daughters ...

Always loyal

Pretty sure he was offered a send off at our first home game, and he declined.

As he is still involved at the club I doubt it.

I think it is more that he is a low key type of guy and likes things that way. Hence why was just a quick interview at quarter time rather than doing lap etc.
