If those three games all go the right way and we then beat the Dees on Sunday we are in the 8

Its funny, I was playing with the ladder predictor over the weekend and basically my calculations for the finals are as follows:

1. GWS win the next 2 games (they are favorites and should win)
2. Tigers win the next 2 games (they should do it you would think)
3. Saints win the next 2 games (melb and north, not outside the realms of possibilities)

Final round. Tigers and Saints play Sunday afternoon.
GWS win earlier in the round and would finish 2nd. Richmond are sitting 3rd.
If the tigers defeat the saints, tigers still finish 3rd.
If the tigers lose. Tigers still finish 3rd.
If saints win they finish anything from 6th to 8th (even 9th because of percentage but unlikely)
If saints lose they finish almost certainly 9th or 10th or even 11th.

Would the tigers field a strong side in the final game if it did not matter whether they won or not as to where they finished?

Having seen him talk on many occasions, I can assure you he thinks it was no fluke. He won because he trained hard every day

Sounds pretty grim.

It would be good to win 13 games which is one more win than last season and which would probably get us into the finals.

I'd be happy if we're very competitive in a final against say a Sydney which would give us something to work with in the off season.

Next year with the addition of say a Kelly and a few others like a Freeman plus continued improvement in our young guys, I'd be wanting us to win at least 14-15 games.
