"All change at Flinders St, all change!"
I normally find a Southern Cross train from Flinders. Works better than taking a city loop from Richmond which Metro suggests.
No city loop services on Sandy Line Sunday

Sandy line train services to and from Etihad on game days are just woeful. Metro have no ******* idea. The staff have no idea either - just useless. If the train station wasn't literally at the end of my street, I'd drive.

Driving is not that good unless it's a 20K or less crowd. Takes too long to get out.
Train to MCG is much better.

Always highly amusing at Southern Cross after a game as you play platform 13 train roulette.
Sandy specials suddenly become Frankston specials or vice versa.
Or they advise Sandy customers to take the Frankston train to Flinders St where you wait for a Sandy train which often comes direct from SC and is already full of football people.
So why didn't they advise us to just wait at SC?
Answer - because they have no idea.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
