the Good, The bad and the ugly of Rd19

Post: # 1689550Post saintbrat »

I had a good seat with a great view and dry until one ugly intervened

I had a bad case of de je vu from missed opportunities in Adelaide

and the ugly of Port supporters and staff being objectionable

The good of players sticking it out and continue to try till accuracy returned and the impossible seemed possible

the bad - consistency remains a vision just out of reach

the ugly of saints supporters and fans who feel 'Support' has to be negative

the Good- I was reminded of the fact it is Just a game which provide opportunity and experiences for players and fans alike and broadens our resilience

the bad - my bank balance if we end up playing a final interstate ( ever the optimist)

the Ugly- 'life' will intervene and the sadness and ugliness of ill health or world events will bring us back to earth-- early morning messages anyone?

One more good - it was an great learning experience for our young players-- to play to the final siren..

One last good- Next week is a new start- a fresh challenge and with the twists of this season anything is possible .

I was wrong there is one more good- We are still above the Blues and the Pies- that was a 50 point lead that gave up

EXCELLENT work there Bratty! AND, before anyone starts getting into the "rose coloured glasses" stuff, I feel exactly the same sentiments as expressed in the OP!
