Armitage easily best on ground in the first half but will they wrap him up at half time.

Hickey looking switched on. Nice goal and getting involved. Maybe the message is getting through, or his body is finally right.

Not sure what all of you think, but I've watched Bailey Rice's intensity and it is absolutely not up to AFL standard. He just doesn't chase hard at all.

Phillips playing well. Covers the ground

Looks like Hickey has just remembered how to play footy.

Would love to see us let Battle really develop in the VFL before pushing him to play AFL.

Even if he spends the next 12 months in the VFL developing his tank and body.

Looks like he has all the tricks to be a real threat.

Agree. He has all the tools, including the ability to read the play, to play hf/ third tall.

Just needs experience and to build his strength.

Today too, unlike last week, he has a midfield giving him a chance with ok delivery.

3/4 time Sandy 86 to Geel 55

Armo resting for the last quarter

Forget where they were taken in the draft, Battle looks a better prospect than Paddy in my eyes.

Taken as a bottom age school boy a year early... Could really end up being an absolute steal for the club.

And we got him with one of the picks we got from Hawthorn.

A good win for Sandy.

Lots to like.

Connelan playing very well after only 13 games of AFL.

Battle showing that he has all the tools.

Hickey showing good form, along with Weller.

White impressive.

Armo for a first game back after a long layoff was impressive, except for him taking Freeman out.

Looked solid, watching him when the song was sung he looked like he couldn't care I reckon he was feeling discomfort from last weeks injury specially at the end of the game.

Armo interviewed after the game and said he was to play 60 minutes today, 80 minutes next match and then a full game after that and then he said we'll see how the seniors are going after that.

I think it's a shame the swung the AXE on Battle, 3 goals to the MIDWAY point of the final quarter would suggest he's going to be SOMME player!

Look again it's the Flash!!
