Not long before the Tigers game SMS wrote:
Was going to start thread on this but nah ill keep it half quiet. I had great chat yesterday with a young saint and lets just say we are On the right track. I want to see some of the proof tonight, but basically very VERY positive about future but surptisingly THIS year
These cats actually believe in the flag THIS year. and onight is our announcing night.

I believe him you all would but I wanna see it tonight. Interesting. Apparently communication has improved ten fold the last month. There was some issues taken care of and now we will APPARENTLY flourish. Exciting, but yeah we'll see.

Much like a fortune teller getting it right - how exciting was this comment in hindsight?! (For all those who saw it- before the game was started.. we belt the tigers.. IT WAS BLOODY EXCITING)

Yet, here I am moday still not quite comfortable with the past weekend. Im holding on to this comment because I NEED IT.

Can anything further be picked apart from this comment SMS please?!

*and why cant we tag people?!

I saw his comment before the Tigers game but I thought it sounded like Scott Morrison (politician) talking at a press conference.

He proved me wrong, so yeah, just like a fortune teller getting something right.

I am hopeful that the rolling over a week later was just a Maddie's match hangover,
coupled with a few consecutive 6 day breaks. It didn't help that I wore my Saints polo all day on Friday
(we have won each time I kept that in the wardrobe- it's like washing your car- brings rain clouds)

They may have a chance to regroup, review, reset and re-vitalise.
Inclusion of Jimmy "Wrecking Ball" Webster is going to help massively.

I'm wearing my Saints Polo all week but will throw it in the wash on Friday

I think that will confuse the footy gods, who will get all worked up in a lather,
and when I wash it, it will wash away their malocchio (Italian for "evil eye")

If we beat the Swans, this post will stand as irrefutable proof of my influence   :o

You are correct, I was at the library an hour ago, a nice librarian commented on my aftershave
(which I'd sprayed on the underarms of the polo haha)
if she only knew that it was masking the smell of Eau D'Un Sans-Abris (French for 'Homeless man!!!)

If a librarian is commenting on your aftershave there's a fair chance she like you to assist her in rebinding some of the classics.

I can say, as a woman, I have never commented on the scent a man is wearing - unless being attracted to them.

Thanks so much for the tip, Mrs DDB  :D
Actually, my home printer is out of ink, so I may have to visit the library again,
to use their printer of course.
A bit worried about my chances though, because as a Sainter, I might come off the bench
and head straight to the goal, but fumble badly and turn it over.

the fate of St Kilda supporters resembles that of the ancient Greek mythological figure of Sisyphus.
His soul was banished to Hades (the underworld) and punished by the gods for eternity
with the pointless task of rolling a huge boulder up a hill each day, only for it to roll down the hill at night
.
Next day- Rinse and repeat

Polo cut.
Not good enough to be part of saints future.

The polo top has been washed and dried, nice and crisp
and I will wear my puffy jacket today too
It will match my puffy eyes at game-end -from tears of joy I hope

Next week, top goes into mothballs, please place your bets so
we'll use scientific methods to work out a supernatural theory
