"He has recorded the most average disposals of any forward in the AFL (22.7 per game) and of the top 10 forwards for average disposals, he averages the most score assists (1.7) and third for score involvements (8.1).

At St Kilda he is a remarkably consistent high achiever. He is ranked first for inside 50s, disposals inside 50 and ground-ball gets inside 50. He is ranked second for score involvements, fourth for contested possessions and score impact and fifth for goals and effective kicks."

We are finally starting to get noticed a bit more in the media, which is fair enough given that we have been outside of the finals race for so long now.

Carey's write up on Jake is surprisingly well balanced.

David King's article in the Herald Sun was also very positive. A few Friday night games also help coz the competing teams get more focussed media attention.
