So we lose to Richmond twice, lose to Sydney, but beat Essendon, Port, West Coast, Melbourne and North Melb. That Port game is a big question mark, we need to win that to deserve a spot in September.

So in the finals, we lose to the Swans in the first week, and the Dogs lose in the West. West Coast and Richmond (straight sets) get knocked out in week 2. GWS beat the Swans, and Adelaide beat Geelong in the 2 Prelims, and the GF is a toss of the coin between GWS and Adelaide.

We also want Sydney, Bulldogs, Port and Melbourne (and Hawthorn) to keep losing.

Think Sydney will get in; they're on a roll.

So it's between us, Port and Melbourne. We need to win against those 2 and if we don't, we don't deserve to be there, particularly as Melbourne would have beaten us twice.

If Tigers have 4th sewn up by the last round it might be a dead rubber for them so this might work in our favour.

I haven't looked at the fixture but I can't see Port dropping out of the 8. They are top 4 contenders.

without bias, I just completed the season. And guess what, I had the Saints Premiers, and Hawks wooden spooners.
