I hope Lachy Neales goal wasn't nominated. It hit the post but the score review did nothing. u could clearly see the padding move.

I think if it hits the back of the padding it doesn't count as hitting the post but I could be wrong

If they are using the back of the padding as the mark for over the line, hitting the back of the padding has to count as hitting the post, unless the ball has completely passed the line, and then bounces back into the padding.

It wasn't even the back of the padding.

but a 2009 rules change
The scoreline to be aligned with the back of the goalpost padding.

I just nominated it as goal of the century.
There was no way he could run so far to make the spoil let alone the follow up with a knock on an then collect the ball and then finally kick the ball for a goal.
Just not possible.

This
The scoring line is the back of the post when above the padding, the back of padding when below the padding.

It seemed to me that the video umpire was employed by Fremantle.
The goal umpires decision should only be overturned if there is clear evidence that the umpire was wrong.
The decision to overturn or not, should not be determined by whether it favours Fremantle.

Hard work by Bruce too, to get the slight shepherd and keep Logue off him. Well done all around

Is it just me, or has Gresham made a habit of coming out of no where. Spoiling a mark, and then kicking the goal? I swear he's done it 4-5 times this year
