I thought you drop to VFL to work on stuff.
Baroose, Dunny, etc

Am I the only one non-plussed about Steele's non-selection. Had an absolute stinker vs the Crows. Should force his way back in.

Dunstan had a much better game then Mav last week.

I am not surprised Steele is out.
Richo has a lotta luv for Luke
and is making up an excuse for keeping Luke in the team.
Mav is a leader and that's why he's safe, and still gets 16 touches,
but Baroose (a leader too) got
dropped because his poor form was more apparent. 4 touches a game?

It's going to be hard to get back into the team next week as no one should be dropped after we beat the suns by 100 points +

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

Abletts out- our guys will start off thinking it will be an easy win.
Saints to get hammered in first qtr then panic
and just turnover.
Like last year. Saints panic. It's what they do best.

Last year was exactly the opposite - we played the Suns up there for a start. Another difference is that we played them when they had finally got their full strength team back and had been in improved form in the games leading up to playing us. A third difference is that they were under the pump for not winning a game for months. Completely different scenario.
I don't necessarily think it will be an easy win physically, but I am hoping that our forward line can finally gel and we can kick 25 goals and get a bit of fluency. With their midfield out our forwards should get plenty of supply and the pressure won't be at the same level as it has been this past month. They have a good forward line and could probably kick 15 goals against us, so I am not expecting us to win by as much as we beat Hawthorn though.
I think the game will be similar to that of the final game last year against Brisbane.
