Can someone explain to me the point of dropping Steele, then bringing him back in without having played a game?
I think the selectors stuffed up big time, unless he has not been following instructions. That being the case, if thagt is so, he needs to play at least one game at Sandy to show he can follow instructions.

The word 'omitted' can means plenty of things.

Not necessarily 'dropped'.

They might have felt he needed a rest as he had an interrupted pre season with his fot injury

Steele won't play this week if he was dropped on form... he will need to play at least a game in the VFL..
Dunstan probably did enough to stay in...
Mc Cartin will push for selection so who goes out?
Lonie is not a straight for like swap so interesting to see what they do...
