Solid post. Pleasing to read it.

But FWIW, sometimes a couple of days off can do wonders.

Dudes get worked up over trivial forum s*** and it can degenerate into a farce.


Two weeks though? Too harsh.

2 days is enough. It gives you time to open the blinds and go and do something else for a bit until you suddenly realise that getting worked up over footy talk with strangers isn't really worth it.

A sensible way of dealing with a one day meltdown of a good poster is a 24 hour ban, and then if any transgressions for the next 7 days is an automatic 2 week ban.

I don't understand why the mods can't do this?

We used to have a 24 hour ban which I copped once and works a treat.

2 weeks and more is fine for out and out trolls, but this is plain wrong!

Please reveiw this over the top ban!

Any poster can have a big meltdown given how we are playing!
