Gutless Richo.

Skunk stinks, Joey was crap, yet only 3 changes.

No new players.

Weak as piss.

His coaching and team selections are confusing to say the least. No wonder the team lacks structure and cohesion now.

I think StKilda has let Dermott's comments re Montagna influence the selection as his last 3 games have been rubbish but if they drop him it is a message that some of what was written may have been correct.

McCartin out probably helped Membrey stay for structure.

Unfortunately it seems there is a list of around 28 who keep bouncing between Sandy and AFL. Either means the kids aren't up to it, aren't performing or too much faith being put in guys who have been there before (but may not have delivered)

If you had been following Sandy at all you would know that Lonie has been performing very well and deserves the promotion.
Wright us out injured and he is the obvious replacement.
It would be refreshing if some of the posters on here knew what they talking about.

I agree that Lonie has clearly been going well at the Zebras. I still don't see him as a long-term AFL player, but his selection is justifiable.

Dunstan for Steele is a bit harder to fathom, but let's see how he goes in his matchup.

It would be absurd to drop the likes of Membrey or Montagna for untried players while we are still a shot at making the eight.

Yep he's tearing it up in the VFL, but he is just NOT up to AFL standard.

Lonie in the VFL is up against blokes that are butchers and plumbers, just like country footy

Lonie has been kicking the door down. Consistent form in midfield for weeks. Nothing wrong with the defensive side of his game and he's got tricks, many more than Minchington or Wright. Not to mention he is good by foot. He's actually a no brainer of a selection.

I think you're living in the 80's -there's not too many butchers or plumbers in VFL these days.
Most of the clubs have stand alone teams as we virtually do.
The standard is below AFL but still very professional.
