This guy is a no good.
Poor decisions, terrible disposal and offers nothing.

Can't have him and Geary in the same side.

Don't compare him to Geary as Geary flogged Betts. Wright is no good.

One of the more dangerous skillfull forwards going around

Really kept a check on their HBs who only had 60 between them?!

Had a stinker but wasn't alone. Could be a defining game for him, not in a good way, but if he is mentally strong enough to persevere and if he gets another opportunity, good luck to the young lad.

Not AFL standard and never will be - poor draft selection

Agree that Nathan doesn't seem to have the talent or the physique to take us to the next level, but I wouldn't be blaming him or the younger blokes on the list who are working hard at VFL level and the coach rewards them.

Here's the thing that fuhcken piesses me orff. We have a loss or two and the coach drops a guy like Josh Bruce who works his backside off and is a proven performer. Of course he'll have a bad game here and there, but don't drop guys that work hard and have talent. Why not drop a senior player in the midfield to make a point.

A guy like Minchington also works hard and has proven that he can impact matches but he was the guy dropped from last time we lost and Richo will probably take the soft option or wrong option again.

We don't know what Richo has asked Bruce to do, so anything is just speculation. Wright had a shock and should not be on the back line.

Wright has been there since 2013, he's one of them fringe players who just floats in and out,
when he comes up, he might kick 2 desperate goals but offers little else.

Tom Curren, Tom Ledger, Tom Lee, Arryn Siposs, all those guys just floated in and out.

Sorry Nathan- the "wrighting" is on the wall buddy

Don't reckon Wright, Minchington or Lonie will make AFL players.

Don't know why we went for so many small forwards who can't play midfield.

remember Saad, Milera, Templeton and that other one with the hyphenated surname?

Another drafting master stroke. Coupled with Spencer White. Ahmed Saad, Terry Milera, Tom Lee. Champagne recruiting trout!

Yep I'd be looking to try and lure Devon Smith from GWS to take that small forward spot. I like the endeavour of Wright but he's a massively limited footballer. Minchy's best is very good but he only plays one good game out of four and Lonie doesn't have enough tricks for such a small player. Billings, Smith and Gresham would be a deadly fleet of small forwards.

He's a trier at best, but headed for delistment.
