I'm one of those who've accused JM of trolling. I was wrong. I'm apologising here as a PM wouldn't cut it. I respectfully withdraw my hasty comment. I don't agree with you a lot of the time, JM, but I think your credentials are pretty sound, unlike a couple of others who've recently been called out.

Aren't we 18th for opposition disposal efficiency?
This makes us arguably the easiest side in the comp to play against.
Partly I think that Gresh Paddy, Billings, Weller and our wingers offer very little resistance to opposition teams rebounds.

I think inside 50s like any other stat can be misleading

However I think why we are getting carved up as by teams not getting many inside 50s is that teams are allowed to run through the corridor too easily.

This results in an inside 50 with a mark (usually) in a great position to score from, or they just stream in numbers with a goal resulting from 15metres out (or closer)

So keep teams out of the corridor and force their inside 50s wide.

So, Mc Kenzie and Savage pay the price.

We will see if there is any improvement in our incisive and decisive usage of the ball from defence.

Keep an eye on the Crows when they score a behind.
Robbo or Jake (usually Robbo) takes the kick-out.
Half the time, he kicks to himself as nobody has offered a lead, then he kicks long to a contest, a Crows crumber will get it and
*bang* another Crows goal

Saints are pathetic at kick-ins.
Pathetic.
A point is simply Robbo keeping the ball warm for an easy goal coming back.
Frawley and the other coaches have a lot to answer for.

Crows bring in a tall forward and a small forward for a tall defender and a small defender…

They mustn't have got JM's the blueprint memo.

I wouldn't think the Crows would be worried about their forward line.

It's been a strength - so I would imagine they'll back themselves in.

Their tall forwards play pretty high up too, so that won't suit us anyway naturally.

It's the 'over the back' that we need to defend. We haven't been great at that thus far, so it will be interesting to see what we come up with?

Agree with you there bro, when we turn it over in the middle of the ground we see an easy goal with a quick pass over the top way too often… I'm not confident we can reduce the turnovers but we can set-up better to prevent these goals.
