When we just beat Carlton the ITKs on here told us all was good because Carlton are a good side! They are 17th.
When we got thrashed by the Swans on our home dung heap we were told not to worry, all is fine. Sydney are a great side!. They are 16th.

In March we were told we were an 'anytime, anywhere team'. This was during membership sales season.

If we cant win against Adelaide this week, or least get very close - then I am going to spew. Serious questions will need to be asked.

Imteresting idea and maybe worth a shot. Who is plan B if it fails?

Also, who breaks away from the packs if they tag Steven?

Ross could do it. Has done a good job on Danger the last couple of times.

True but Ross is now too good to be a tagger.
They need to worry about Ross.
You don't use one of your best players as a tagger.
Ross is probably leading the B and F.

I think the Crows are tired and vulnerable this week. We are rested.
No excuses for a poor showing.

Like to think we will be competitive, but reality is Crows win by 60pts.

You'd expect Bruce to come in after a useful game today for Sandringham. Leave Paddy at ff with a licence to lead and let Bruce play chf, where he will give us some structure and leadership.

A 10 goal loss and we officially go into panic mode after 40 and 50 point beltings. We have to learn to lock things down when its going against us. These huge momentum swings where teams kick 5+ goals on us in a row are a huge issue and have been a feature of Richo's tenure to be honest. You need a system that makes teams earn every goal against you - no cheapies giving teams confidence and energy.

Our main hope is that the skipper locks down Eddie. He's done it before. Fingers crossed.

I think Mav needs to be put on notice.
I know there is a lot of man love for Mav (and lady love) but I think his role needs to be made clear.
There is only room for one glamour boy in the fwd line and that is Billings. We can't have two blokes who are outside goal kickers.
Mav needs to stop kidding himself he is a glamour boy and go back to being a hard case blue collar worker who puts real pressure on the opposition

I don't mean ' pressure acts', I mean real physical pressure.

I may be a pessimistic 44yo life-long Saints fan but - is it just me or despite other teams practically giving us the blueprint as to how to beat Adelaide (i.e. sit a hard tag on Sloane and then watch the rest of Adelaide's relatively shallow midfield struggle) - I fear that we'll try to be too smart by half/pigheaded and decide to run head-to-head with our midfield against theirs and then get blown away (with Sloane having 34+)?

I've not been a fan of a lot of Match Committee's decisions this year and I fear more of the same this week.

Win and we're back on track; lose and we're chasing our tails again with a difficult last 12 weeks.

So - just me?
