Hawkins on Paddy!!!!!

Very interesting to see the Tomahawk come out and support Paddy this week. Compared Paddy to himself and said, 'like him and key postion players', just needs time!!!!!

May or may not be an agenda there on behalf of Geelong, but nice to see him supporting Paddy and more importantly, someone really at the coalface who believes in the kid, maybe an education for some on this forum!!!!!

I've no doubt that Geelong, Richmond, Collingwood, Brisbane, Carlton, North Melbourne and perhaps even Freo are all talking about Paddy. We'd be idiots to lose him and would have our face rubbed in it in subsequent years.

There are many good key forwards, past and present, coming out in support of Paddy. Seems like he's highly rated by his peers.

That's correct. He had a poor diet like Paddy when he moved to Melbourne and it took him 4 years to lean-up and build his tank. TH is actually most likely the best qualified to speak about Paddy due to his own build and performance. I wouldn't mind Paddy having a breakout period like TH's 09 finals series

It is just AFL media 101. Players at other clubs would have absolutely no idea and wouldnt give two hoots about Paddy.
