Well done Jack Billings, it would be good form for some on here to admit they were wrong in their premature panic.

Re: Stick it to the Jack Billings knockers
Jack Billings is going to be a great player but he may not place in the top 5 from his draft cohort.
But he will certainly be top 10.
Although the AFL would have you believe that Billings was the 3rd draft pick in the 2013 National Draft
Jack Martin (Gold Coast)
Jesse Hogan (Melbourne)
who otherwise would have been included in the the draft were taken earlier as under age players via the 2012 mini draft.
GWS had the first 2 picks in the 2013 draft due to Melbourne swapping pick 2 for pick 9 and Dom Tyson.
Tom Boyd (GWS 1)
Josh Kelly (GWS 2)
But then you get to choose from the likes of
Jack Billings (St Kilda 3)
Marcus Bontempelli (Dogs 4)
Kade Kolodjashnij (Gold Coast 5)
James Aish (Brisbane 7)
Nathan Freeman (Collingwood 10)
Dom Sheed (West Coast 11)
Patrick Cripps (Carlton 13)
Cameron McCarthy (GWS 14)
Zach Merrett (Essendon 26)
Lewis Taylor (Brisbane 28)
Ben Brown (North 47)
Now if you want to be able to make the realistic pick 5 again then you must allow the 2 mini draft and 2 national draft picks to be made again.
Bontempelli would be gone before your pick 5.
You may not choose Billings but he would certainly go top 10.
