So you're just gonna say f&*k you to "the doubters" for every player copping some criticism? Gunna be a lot of threads. Where is the Longer one?

Billings is still a bit frustrating because even tonight he did some weird things with the ball. And yet often things come off even when he seems to have made the wrong decision or under kicked it. You feel if he can really find his range in the fast paced AFL, he could just rip open games like pack of chips. STill seems like a boy playing in a mans game. Another couple of years to build his body and I think his confidence will sky rocket.

I was really happy that he took those first two shots from around 50. He's been giving off too many recently, showing a real lack of confidence.

He would probably come under the tag of being an introvert, so being he will need some building in confidence, I see him as someone who will just get better and better and by the time he finishes footy will be a superstar, just not totally comfortable in his own shoes at the moment

Was terrific, and is only going to get better and better. His work rate has lifted, and that game will boost his confidence. A big big game is coming, but tonight was pretty good.

The thing with Billings is, he knows how to read the play, where the ball will go and how play will break. So many players are like robots designed to run and run to chase the ball or be in this position at this time as part of a mechanised system.

Jack just knows how play will break and can position himself to take advantage of it. He sat at half back once tonight and cut off a ball being kicked across him like he saw it happening on a replay. Its why he doesn't seem to be breaking a sweat half the time. Its a rare gift and I think it will just shine better and better as he gets his genuine AFL tank and composure happening.

Jesus though, the pressure on the kid is and has been enormous for him to perform and succeed
He could be great
And maybe he will be
A few more games like that, I'm happy

F*ck you back.

You are the same guy who wants Dunstan IN and Stevens, Sinclair and Acres OUT.

Not sure why you are mouthing off?

Noone ever actually wanted Billings out.

Absolute straw man.

When have I said Stevens, Sinclair, & Acres out, or potted them?. Also, I have backed Dunstan & Billings through thick and thin.

I have consistently said that Billings will be better than the Bont and he will be, in fact a lot better.

I'm also backing McCartin and don't care for 'Pork Chop' Petracca (Billings is better than him as well).

I think I've been consistent, hardly a strawman.

I get the feeling we've been trying to make JB a midfielder when he has been a forward all along. I noticed Richo started him in the forward line each quarter last night and he looked much better. Once he gets his goal kicking boots back he will be very dangerous!

often jack puts it to a players advantage before the player even realises that's where they need to lead. For example darren minch in the third quarter i think it was, jack had it in the square, had to pass but minch was neck and neck with his opponent, billings kicked it short and to minch's side, where minch should have cut back and lead. He didn't get to it on the full but it was so much to his advantage that we ended up kicking a goal anyway. Same with jack steven in the last, JB put it to his advantage but steven decided to body rather than take it out in front, but steven is all quality and he played it perfectly in the end. JB seems to always put it to advantage whether our players are aware of it or not

I actually didn't think he was great.

Wasteful disposal again, and his effort didn't seem to be as intense as others.

Close to the most effective player on the ground.
