Joel Duckwood

Who the bloody hell played on him today? I don't think he even had an opponent for the entire game. Just moronic, if the case. Richardson should be held accountable for this sort of coaching blunder.

Thought the same thing, Sainternist. Disgraceful how many cheap possessions he got. Who was keeping track?

Apparently no one in our coaches box did. Beats the hell out of me how they let such a dangerous go unattended. That could have been the game breaker right there. Just ludicrous!!

Dunstan was his direct opponent in the middle on many occassions, not good enough to go with him.

He got 43 disposals.
Richo said they were happy at 3 qtr time wth how many he had, because we were in touch.

I thought Dunstan was marking Dangerfield in the centre bounces in the first half?

I thought Seb was on Danger? Did we double team Danger with both of those guys? Because the only one following Selwood today was his shadow.

Half his possessions were from us kicking to him, instead of his opponent that he didn't man up on.
Made it easy for him.

Easy to hate, but he's an absolute champion… he and Dangerfield the difference… free kicks or not.

Take Selwood and Dangerfield out of that team and we win today, and they are probably two and three now!

Selwood kept them in it when we threatened to break away twice during the third quarter. He had 16 possessions in that term, most of them damaging in some way. I know the modern game is eschewing Taggers, but when a player carves you up to that extent, you have to act. Would've been worth trying Geary on him.

Do we have a genuine tagger left or have we given up on all of them because they don't get enough possessions themselves.

Yep easy to hate.
Why?
For me it's not so much his ducking, which is akin to diving in soccer.

It's his bloody whinging when things don't go his way. He has an 'entitlement' attitude to go with his ducking.
