Hickey not playing for St Kilda or Sandringham.
Being rested (managed)
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

So why are Sandringham even bothering to turn up given the strength of the opposition - and the St Kilda List is so deficient anyway?

Mind you, it is my view that the performances of the likes of McCartin and Freeman are the critical factors to focus on with Sandringham along with the progress in the education of the youngsters we trust will be features of the St Kilda side into the future - the future even being as this season evolves - so the likes of White.

Sinclair is fast becoming the forgotten man, as is Holmsey, who does not appear to be getting a game anywhere at the moment, or is he playing in the Sandy seconds?

I am just of the view that those mid-sized players who have been with the Club from 3-5 years, have somewhere near 30 games experience, so Sinclair (2015), Wright (2013) and Minchington (2013) will struggle to carve out successful careers particularly with 2 First Round Draft Picks later this year and possible Free Trade activity bringing another player to the Club.

Simply, if they are as good as some present, they would be regular AFL players by now.

There is a time when decisions need to be made and it is a brutal industry.

These players have already been pushed down the pecking order by Steele and Stevens plus the progress made by Dunstan, Acres and Gresham who were all First Round Draft Picks.

Then there is Freeman.

And the progress of Ross who was impeded early by injury.

Funny.

I thought that meatball got picked in the side in preference to Stevens.

Each to their own.

But the Stats show Minchington played his first game in 2013, so 5 Rounds into his 5th (Fifth) season has amassed 24 games (including this weekend), kicking 18 goals (ahead of this weekend).

That represents 20.8% of the 115 games St Kilda has played since and including 2013.

I would suggest that Stevens lost some conditioning and is still regaining what he lost.

.

Sinclair may be a regular without Alan "big body/pressuring" Richardson as coach. A coachs approach defines the style of footy player he wants in the seniors. How long did Armo rot in the two's under Lyon's "role playing" obsession.

Marshall!

QTR Time:

Disposals: Marshall 9, Sinclair 9 & O'Kearney 9.
Goals: Marshall 2.

Paddy has kicked one in the second quarter.

A snap goal from Paddy McCartin puts the Zebs back in front!

Least we're consistent across our seniors and reserves, bomb it long to the opposition.

no stats yet. Half time was 40 mins ago.
All quiet
We need new assistant coaches.
The current ones are underperforming. "Player development" is a phrase that means nothing at Seaford.
Who has developed? Who has gone backwards this year?
