Now that is a hard one stkmo - one of the players from the 1966 premiership team would be suitable.

Barry Breen as he kicked that winning point

Or

Bob Murray as he took that saving mark

Or

Alan Morrow, as he didn't let the team down when Bob Murray kicked it in his direction to hold the mark that finished Collingwood off.

Then again, Robert Harvey a legend of St Kilda who IMHO deserved a premiership for the contributions he made for the Saints over his career.

It sure is a hard decision.

Bit difficult for Harvey seeing he is Collingwood assistant coach.
But by the time we win a premiership, Buckley will have been sacked and normally the assistants get replaced by an incoming coach.

My choice would be Cowboy Neale. Five goals in the premiership. Has done a lot for the club since.

Fine choices.

Personally, I would love it to be R Harvey but agree how it would seem unlikely with his role.

The guy that kicked half of our total goals in the GF...it has to be Cowboy.

Would be a fantastic effort by any player for any team in any GF.

And as pointed out above, he has been involved in so much for the club since.

This is not intended in any way to belittle BB's, "The Point of Three Centuries" so far for our club's involvement span those centuries....scary stuff for one cup...or his subsequent club involvement.

As we all do no doubt, I wish that Point can soon be diluted within the joy of the Saint's 2nd and subsequent flags.

Cowboy, Lenny, Harves (Filth connection permitting), Burkey.

Any of the above. If I had to pick one, then Cowboy for his connection to the 1996 GF and his lifelong Saints support.

Bummer. Saw the thread title and thought I'd been in a 6 month coma and just woken up to see that we're premiers. Disappointing.

Depends on which gender it identifies with on the day, I suppose.

Cowboy for me. Then straight after I am off to the closest open Tattoo parlour for my one and only tattoo. Saints emblem with the premiership year ... and enough room for future additions (hopefully) ...

AwayInUSA no longer ... have based myself back in Melbourne for a decade of Saintsational Success (with regular trips back to the USA)
