Was watching this game and thought in the second quarter that Melbourne looked a tad cocky and Watts was going his normal half pace and waiting for cheap kicks. Then the siren rang and I watched as Melbourne ran around the boundary line to get off the ground as they lapped up the applause. I thought to myself hmmm look out they think they have this in the bag. Then they showed the rooms at half time and the melbourne players were sitting in nice deck chairs talking to their coaches. Freo were stretching on the floor. I had a funny feeling. Then we saw what happened in the third quarter.

Melbourne still love to drink their own bath water. Jack Watts is so full of himself it isnt funny. I was so happy that they lost. I thought they would beat us being the first game of the year and that they would be really up for that game with a full list of fit players. However they still go into matches thinking they have it won.

Milne's primary role was always blocking for Gehrig and Riewoldt, goal kicking was only a sideline.
When have you ever seen Betts block for a tall forward.
Just selfish. All about Eddie for the cameras.
If Eddie copped half the abuse Milne did, Eddie would a curled up crying in the football bag behind the goals.

Rioli plays well in finals - and wins Grand Finals off his own boot - when most small forwards disappear.
But I prefer Milne during the Home and Away season.

Eddie cops plenty of abuse, he only addresses it because the media get hold of it. Yep didnt he just roll up in a ball, how many did he kick last night? Thats what I like about him, he gets on with things. He never brings it to light, its the media that does. He is an amazing player, and I love how he goes about life outside football, just loves his kids, I wish we had him.
