Sounds like in his interview on Saints.com he will be at least starting down back... that was what it sounded like when he was talking about what he expected in his first game.

Just looking at the videos again on Saints.com I can't find the one where I heard him talking about his possible defensive role - it may have been a Facebook interview.
On the current video on Saints.com he mainly talks about the forward line and working with Bruce, Membrey & Mav and has been watching Gresh a lot.
So I might have led you up the wrong path dragit as I can't find where I heard it ........ maybe I had a dream and heard voices

I would really hate for him to go forward (though he may be very good at it). How many forward pocket types do we need...
Lonie, Long, Wright, Minch, Billings, Sinclair and of course the Gresh...

Meanwhile the only pacey running back we have is Savage who lacks accountability at times and has a tendency to make poor decisions.

Ben will be a ripper. (Obviously) needs a couple of preseasons worth of strength and conditioning to really start starring, but I reckon he'll 'do a Gresh' this season. Now that he's in the team, he'll stay in the team. And we'll see this season some tricks that point to what we can look forward.




PS: Apparently the Poodles were quite pissed-off when we grabbed him before they could. (Just like the Jailbirds several seasons earlier when we grabbed the Dud. )
