Nathan Freeman. This is it.
Well sainters, we were told that round three was slated for Nate's comeback. Will he play Sandy Development, Sandy VFL, or will we be given one of the following alternatives: tightness, soreness, awareness (whatever that means), a new problem, not ready yet, or the most dreaded of all, "two weeks". I sincerely hope he plays, even in the dev. squad. I do feel, however, he won't and we'll be given more spin.
I know this kid was a super talent. He was worth pursuing. I watched him at U/18 level and he was a rare talent. Worthy of his top ten draft position. His management appears, from the outside at least, to be puzzling and inconsistent, with reports from Tony74 that "he has been in full training", "training the house down", "joining in full training" etc. Let's look at this objectively. Since the end of last season, when he strung together seven unremarkable games for Sandringham, he has not appeared in a competitive match. That's seven months of rehab, overseas treatment, training the house down and he still can't get on the park. That is a hell of an injury or injuries. I call shenanigans. If he doesn't get out there this week then the club has bullshitted us. Again. For the umpteenth time about this poor kid.
Jamie Cox recently stated he wasn't concerned if Nathan didn't get on the park this year and that it was all about next year. Really? That's $700K you've thrown down the toilet on a guy who hasn't played a single game. Treating supporters and members like turnips. Come on sainters, if he's a bust, just say so. After more than three years without senior football, the chances of him ever delivering on his enormous promise are slim indeed. I do hope he gets back. A tragedy if he doesn't. Come on saints. Just tell us the truth.

Good luck to him! Standing by for a late withdrawal due to 'hamstring awareness'
Re: Nathan Freeman. This is it.
I've heard he's now reached "hamstring enlightenment" where he has realised the illusionary nature of hamstrings and has moved beyond them. I saw him at training trying to cover the whole ground whilst not moving. He was mumbling something about "I am now everyone's hamstring"prwilkinson wrote:Good luck to him! This thread is soo much more interesting than the other "NF this is it" thread.

Completing a medical questionnaire for a job application recently, there was a question : "are you aware of any medical condition that may affect the performance of your duties?"Jacks Back wrote:I think lately he's been aware of his hip (allegedly)

Get over it
Sometimes it is like a venomous media frenzy on here
Forget Freeman for now, if it doesn't work out, bad luck add it to the list .
If he comes good , rejoice.

Freeman needs at least 10 games in a row at Sandy and play well in 5 of them to earn senior selection.

Freeman needs to play one game at Sandy to prove he is even on the list. Biggest bust of all time. Won't pay a single senior game at this rate. Retire him and promote Marshall.

At least with Lovett the contract amount was discounted somewhat.
I imagine as well as Freeman's 3x300k we would have some significant medical expenses to cover.
Filth would be absolutely giggling, fancy getting more for Freeman than what they gave for Ball!
The bloke is obviously a fruit loop, no physical injury can possibly keep you out for 4 years!

The really alarming fact is that, when going to watch the footy, you are in proximity to some of the "fruit loops" posting on here.
The uneducated telling their fellow uneducated what they do not know.
And they probably believe every headline in the Murdoch rag!
