At some point you just have to pull the trigger and what will be, will be. He needs to play as much as possible this year. It's only a praccie game so you could err on the side of caution I guess but then would you risk him for a serious game next week with no warm up game? He doesn't have to play a full game - a quarter or two as a test would be ok.
