Very pleased to see both coaches recognise the performance of Longer. I may be mistaken, but did someone on this forum suggest last week that he was the worst ever StKilda player ? Put paid to that one, I think.

What is the obsession with this? Where's bluthy to start bleating on with the homo-erotic claptrap about dunstan's little legs? Dunstan was good on Saturday. Get over it.

I agree he was very good for us. Not sure any Saint deserved coaches votes though.

I was just making the observation that Richo clearly gave him 3 votes.

Don't both coaches award votes ?

Hard to believe that a guy can have 37 possessions and not score a vote....well Seb Ross has 'achieved' that feat.

thought he deserved more. horse (or richo?) should have given him one or two. stood up in the midfield against one of the best when almost all his teammates went missing. loved his perfect kick to set up roo as well. set up two goals like that. scored a nice, clever goal. he had a lot of lovely long delivery to one on ones in the forward fifty, but only two his teammates won. wish he was more consistent with his shorter delivery, but hopefully that'll come.

Ryder 8 votes

Continues the trend of Longer's career

And that, people, is THE question

THEN there was that last ruck contest last weekend

Get the message now?

And the Football Club need to get the message - and not just with Longer

End of rant

well done billy. And what about Dunstan? Had a bevy of idiots proclaiming he was hopeless, how stupid do they look now. he's got votes in every game since his return and is a shining star for us going ahead. Won't stop the idiots of course - they'll just pick another youngster to denigrate.

Dunstan's last three games show he is growing into his game and has, like Seb Ross before him, learnt how to ply his trade as a grunt player in our midfield.

Patience is a virtue. Mick Malthouse, for all his bluster and BS, was right - "the ox is slow but the earth is patient". In footy parlance, very few make superstars overnight. Throw Bily in that mix as well. May be Mick was thinking of Billy with his analogy? :)

I thought Sinclair's second quarter got us back in the game, plus his skills really set us up numerous times - no votes?
