This was Acres last 5 games of 2016. Rd 19-23.
Apparently he must not have performed well enough getting a tan over summer or doesnt have stocky enough legs to get Richo excited in the lions.
19 NM Coach said this was one of best games for club. Still some lapses but improving. 6
20 Carl Big first term and had a good game. 6
21 Syd Continues to make plenty of progress as a winger. 7
22 Rich Continued to show strong ball-winning capacity on the wing. 6
23 Bris Good kick winner in first half and completed a good second half of the year. 6

The more i think of it, the more i think JB has got it right above - two injuries means 2 forced changes...think he'll give the others a chance to respond and be 'learners'!! ps: i like the INs heaps too, but they have to perform, the time for wraps on forums like this is growing old, we need match changing performances that demand they hold their sports...no pressure lads

Are you keeping Roo in the team on crutches?
Of course. Roo out, Webster stays in.
Roo on crutches would still be better than some. :D

I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

I also agree with cwrcyn, saynta, Con Gorozidis et al............ however I would love to squeeze Dempster in, methinks his ability to read the play, zone off his opponent to support a team-mate would be valuable on the Subiaco oval.

It sounds defeatist but I don't think it is going to make a lot of difference who we play regarding the results. West coast in Perth will be a bridge too far. Players can have a bad week so I am all for second chances except for Armo, Ross & Dunstan. One of them has to go because they are too similar and only know how to play one way and once that is exposed we are toast. Richo should tell the team if you play like last week expect to be in Sandy for a while. Acres for me should come in for no other reason as he is unpredictable. With Joey fit I would lose Savage only because we made Geary captain so he can't be dropped.

I don't see Richo dropping anyone at all, except of course for Roo and Armo.
The coaching panel (I imagine it's a group effort, he wouldn't rule with an iron fist like Stalin)
appear to prefer consistency and maintaining the status quo.

I really don't expect Acres to get a gig until maybe Rd 5 or 6- even if he gathers 30+ each week,
he will not be elevated unless somebody is injured.
Example is that Dunstan has never played for Sandy. Gets injured, recovers, goes straight in.
Acres will keep playing for Sandy until he can learn whatever he has to learn, as the coaches will play the long game with him, and others.
Don't expect any changes
