Winning margin competition Round 1

Postby Playon » Sat 18 Mar 2017 5:46pm

Just for a bit of fun, which has been done in the past, Guess the Saints margin competition.
There's no prize but you get full bragging rights :)

Make sure you get your tips in weekly and please be clear on who you're tipping and by how much
eg Saints to beat Hawks by 1 point
eg Hawks to beat Saints by 1 point
eg Saints, Hawks a draw
Tips must be in before start of play

How scores are calculated

2 points for predicting the win, In the event of a draw you have to of picked a draw

2 points for being the closest pick, If theres more than one person you each get 2 points

10 points for being within 5 points or less
or
5 points for being within 10 points or less
or
1 point for being within 20 points or less

The comp will only be run if there's enough interest

Saints win by 42 points
We need new assistant coaches.
The current ones are underperforming. "Player development" is a phrase that means nothing at Seaford.
Who has developed? Who has gone backwards this year?

I'll donate a drive in stingers porsche to the winner at the end of the season.

I'll go devils advocate here and say Melbourne by 8 points.

We're playing Melbourne not Hawthorn.

Saints to defeat Demons by 13 points.
As president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
