Maybe they could cut some slack for Acres a 191cm 90kg 22yo midfielder playing in 30 degree energy sapping heat in meaningless warm up games. You wouldn't expect him to cover the ground like Daisy Thomas in his peak in this heat with that frame.

Club wanted to get the minutes and confidence into him at Sandy playing and winning his own footy

Personally I'd play Acres before Dunstan. Just a better footballer playing the same position.

One rule for Acres and another for everyone else ! Seem to be a hell of a lot harder on this kid than anyone else ! ( just an observation )

I've watched hiim play. He's one of our best young talents imo and no doubt will force his way back in eventually.

After seeing the round 1 team " Acres = Emergency " I don't think your gonna be far off the mark ! Won't hang around long if not getting opportunity !

Yes you are right Petracca tripped over his own ego and did a knee and Watts has been hospitalised due to the trauma of being scared of his own shadow.
