Did we get full monies off them in 2016, our final year of the sponsorship?


I'll say it again - we need to become relevant enough to gain sponsorships from higher tier companies,
not just those that are unheard of and need brand awareness.

Saying that, the AFL signed on that JLT mob!

Watersun sponsored St Kilda due to the fact that one of the partners was a die hard Saint and wanted to back the club. Just like Jennings / Summers currently. The club didn't actively seek them out.

We have had a couple of duds - but we are not alone!

Remember Collingwood and the FAI guy, who even ended up on Collingwood's Board!!!

Then the roosters came home to roost when Trunbull sold FAI to HIH, collapsing HIH and costing us a Levy on our property insurance premiums to survive the industry.

The biggest Corporate collapse in Australia's history at that time.

Collingwood said it had no obligation to refund the donation.

Just as Trunbull never handed back his massive commission.

Instead we contributed by paying the levy.

Much the same with Carlton and Pratt - so we all contributed to Carlton's coffers.

And the Pratt matter did finish in Court with a guilty finding for price fixing.
