Was about to say his wiki page has him at the saints. Very handy stop gap until Goddard is ready. Sadly I think this means the end for Sam Fisher.

No. We were on the verge of securing his twin brother, Mitch, who is not as good, from the WCE.

Love it. I think he will be with us for a while not just until Goddard is ready.

A gaping hole in our list fulfilled for the short to mid term.
He has played 37 of the last 44 games so that's strong form.
He and Carlisle look to take the spine for 2017 whilst Goddard recovers and develops.
Is that the end for both Tom Lee and Sam Fisher?

Pretty happy with this. Our backline was an obvious weakness this year. With Carlisle coming back and now Brown it gives us far more options. If we keep Fish, he can play his more natural role of 3rd man up with Dempster. Makes us a lot more dangerous and takes pressure off our undermanned backline.

A little bit stronger with every pickup, not a superstar but we are patching a leaky boat.

Starting to look like we'll get a certificate of seaworthiness!

Don't necessarily agree with comments that it was our backline that let us down at times this year. It just couldn't cope with the extreme pressure put on it when the midfield had fadeouts - too frequent in my opinion.

Compare a player the quality of Nathan Brown replacing Luke Delaney and you would have to be chuffed.

Very happy with this. Nath Brown takes the gorillas who always kill us.

Takes pressure right off Hugh to recover fully. Pressure off Carlisle allowing him to play more of his natural CHB game. Pressure off Dempster meaning he can now play his natural 3rd tall intercept game and not on gorillas.

Good leadership and an obvious list hole filled, zero cost apart from $ s.

That's a shock, I thought he retired after that terrible broken leg.

Only doubt is that Sandy flogged filth 2nds during the year and Brown was one of the poorer performers.

You would hope the recruiters did their due diligence on him, they might see something in him.
2010 Premiership player- I just hope they didn't do a Capuano with him and see the medallion, and clouded their judgement.

Think about what Nathan Brown was doing just over 6 years ago, although it turned out to be his last game for a while - just our luck it didn't happen one match earlier.
