There are currently several threads running on the topics of our financial situation, Kennett's insolvency claims and hence our inability to tell the AFL where to go when required, our club's supposed inability to be a 'destination club', and several Saintsationalists expressing unhappy emotions ranging from doom n' gloom to 'battle fatigue'.

To all of these issues... JO is the answer.

I am with Dave.

I remember when people on here rushed to the defence of the club to parrot bulls*** that Seaford was 'cutting edge' and 'world class' and that it was in our 'growth corridor'.

Seriously get a grip. Nobody believes your bulls***.

Everybody knows that the Junction would be better. The players, staff , fans and supporters would go nuts for the Junction.

It is pointless discussing the JO for the simple reason that just like the Greens having a sensible policy, it will NEVER happen.

The Junction Oval is the Cricket Club’s ground. The same reason why the club left in 1965 is the same reason why we’re not there now. Moorabbin is the next best thing and the ‘new’ Moorabbin looks amazing.

Agreed. It will be a first rate complex and looks fantastic. It will look amazing when the whole grounds are done and rejuvenate the area. Moorabbin will become a boom suburb soon too, if it hasn't already.

The new Moorabbin is in a perfect location. Right in the heart of Bayside, near the Nepean Hwy and beaches, shops are up the road and lots of great suburbs are quite close. It will help heaps in retaining and recruiting players from now on.

I've always thought Seaford wasn't a great move. It was too far away from the CBD and its pretty well known that alot of players didn't like the place. If only the Kingston council weren't a bunch of mugs in the first place.

I'm sure the rabid hoards of maniacal saints fans living within a 3km radius of the Junction oval would love it.. All six or seven of them. Seriously, you need to understand something about demographics.

Seaford only happened because of two people...Archie Fraser and Topsy Petchey. We never wanted to leave Moorabbin. I am thrilled that we're back, even though The Junction Oval would have been much closer and convenient for me.

much to the detriment of the club but as always with everything to do with the Saints...there is hope and hopefully common sense will have us at the JO sooner than later before we completely go under..

You moved that new metro station a long way south. Have you consulted Daniel Andrews?

Pretty typical of us isn't it... we move back to Moorabbin (ahead of schedule0 and fans are still bemoaning not moving back to the Junction - a move which was never even plausible in the first place!

Why is the JO being discussed still? Seriously...Saints are at Moorabbin for life now...a very long time basically.

Who's bagging Moorabbin ?
I love the place and I'm rapt we are back there
It will still be greatly utilised but the club needs to think way bigger to survive & match it with the bigger clubs
I marked the Metro station (Anzac Station) in the spot it is shown on their website

You put it on the edge of the wrong park. It’s about 1k north of there, but only a short tram ride.

Park Avenue Sainter, you are a great entrepreneur, the second greatest entrepreneur, of all time. In fact, folks, they regularly stop me, and they tell me, can you believe this(?), they tell me how they believe that you are their seconded most great entrepreneur. Ever! Believe me. (They also speak very highly of your foreign policy knowledge, and so do I, believe me.) So my great friend and fellow swamp draining coal miner, you. You. Are the man to run the new Jerusalem Oval development! :D

There will be a great wall, the greatest wall ever! There will be embassies, every embassy will be moved there. (Except Mexican muslim, or muslim Mexican embassies. Of course. Or embassies from shitehole countries, believe me!) There will be a great casino and a great brothel and a great coal mine, the greatest ever! All of them, believe me! And because I know that like me, nobody knows about the promotion of these things like you do Park Avenue Sainter. There will be winning. So much winning! And there will be earnings. So much earnings, believe me! :D #keepingjerusalemovalgreatagain
