You can vote here and on the homepage at www.saintsational.com

If there's a question you would like to see in next week's poll just send a PM to me and I'll pick one each week.

Personally, I'm a little undecided, but feel the idea of playing him off a half back flank can work but with Jones, Penny, Maguire, Hudghton, Schwarze, Voss or even Ferguson already in the back line I can't see a great reason for moving him from the forward line where he plays some great footy alongside Gehrig, Milne, Riewoldt and Koschitzke.

Frankly I'm happy if he's just out there, don't really care where.

I know what you mean Moose the first priority is to have him on the ground but I,m of the same belief as Shadow..

Hamill is definately most benificial to the team structure FORWARD !

....breaking packs open [for milne, guerra ect]and keeping the ball in the forward line...not to mention snagging a goal or two

And I think GT and the match commitee know it 8)

I'm a bit the same. Somewhere where his physicality can be utilised, as well as hard ball gets.
I haven't seen him in the backline long enough to judge.

I voted for backline, because I think we need him down there on occasion when the flow of the game is unsuitable for some of the other backmen to have a look in, but he could justr as easily play forward.

Maybe both................

Mainly forward; backline as a pinch hitter when required.

FORWARD

Played this area for a number of years.

I don't think a natural backman.

IT REMINDS ME OF MALCOLMS EXPERIMENT WITH HALL :? :?

i think he really needs to be in the forward line. He does his all to make sure the ball stays in there and tries to create a scoring opportunity. Milne does the same things but he's too little...

In the backline i think works for hamill when the balls at ground level. He seems to be too slow and being led to the ball. This is not hamills style. I say forward!

Forward most defanitly, he's pressure on the opposition defenders helps and his ability to keep the ball in there is a great attribute, he's a little slow of foot which would hurt him in defence playing against someone on the lead, plus he has a whole lot of experience up front.

Especially in the pointy end of the season - ie FINALS!

5 prelims in 7 years. 40 wins from 49 games.
2009 and 2010 were 2 of the 5 best years ever by the St.Kilda FC.
Thanks for all your efforts Saints.

Foward line for me, except when we have injuries to key backmen as last week and this week in the Wizard Cup...

On the bench for me.....crash and bang player interchanging on the half forward flank. Times have changed since he was recruited and there are too many saints ahead of him in the skill/talent area. His determination and impact play can still be useful.... if he can handle the gig of having limited game time.

lmao.

Aaron Hamill - 2 weeks.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

All the polls are kept at the bottom of the last page, whilst all other threads are deleted after about 6 months.

It can be frustrating at times ... I would have loved to have re-read the Sacred Cow thread ... that was absolute gold comedy.
