Oh and folks..... you have to get to the roll of the credits at the end to have it confirmed that Dylan is 'The Creep'

That was posted on the Fremantle forum & then posted into the Saints forum by a Freo fan on Big Footy.

When Scotty said Roberton was a bohemian, I had visions of him roaming around in a field playing a lute or painting a landscape when not playing footy

I was thinking more acid and jazz poetry.

I actually think Dylan gives a fair performance in this. He has quite a menacing screen presence and lives up to the name of the title. People are saying "don't give up your day job", but I think his portrayal of The Creep warrants another go at acting in front of the camera. Possibly the best acting performance by a footy player since Rene Kink played the part of Tank O'Donohue in The Club (1980). Love how they framed him in the Dutch tilt whilst he's digging the grave.

"Can I help you?"

Agreed. There's something quirky and unsettling about an out of focus, poorly lit frame of Dylan.

Love this film. Also "Based on actual events" at the end? How accurate is this statement?

Hahahaha Someone forgot to find critical focus when framing up for the shot. Not to mention, forgetting to sufficiently light the scene. That is where a basic knowledge of cinematography comes in handy.

I would say the statement is about as accurate as the Coen Brothers' statement, during the opening title sequence of Fargo.

This little austere video is well worth a revisit.

Week after week, Dylan Roberton has been striking fear into the hearts of his opponents, much the character he plays in The Creep!!

Good nickname. We've had The Shadow (Ditterich), The G-Train (Gehrig), The Big Show (Gardiner). Now we have The Creep.
