...and as someone said the Club and Kingston COuncil have obviously had a falling out of such proportions that even the training redevolopment was going to be compromised. let alone the SC fiasco.

Pokies was just the excuse that a rabid few at Kingston used to stop Moorabbin being redeveloped.

If it was not that then they would have found over excuses.....

I now believe you but you can understand why people didn't. Can you understand that? I mean you could've been anyone coming and saying anything. But next time people will remember you, and be more ready to believe you. I for one say thankyou and hope you stick around in the future with these sorts of posts.


As for the pokies it was about moving them 200 metres to a better position at Moorabbin which would've increased revenue for the saints and allowed the bank to give a loan for the redevelopment. The council wouldn't guareentee no reduction of the number of pokies with new permit to move them and that was the sticking point. Obviously Frankston council will cover that portion of it and no need to move the pokies now to guareentee the saints financial position.

The Mayor of Frankston said according to his information on SEN that the Saints are going to incorporate the pokies into a hotel/pub setup, similer to what the Pies, Hawks have now.

I don't think the pokies were ever going to be allowed to be incorporated the Moorabbin setup.
