For Sale - 1966 Fully Signed St Kilda Premiership club issue

Post: # 484116Post saintfreddy »

I have for sale the limited edition brought out by the St Kilda Football club of the 1966 full signed Premiership Piece. This was produced in 2000 and sold at the time for $1966.00

I have still in the original box No 22 of 66 which I am willing to part for $2400. (I have my own on the wall)

This is the large beautifully signed piece that was signed by all players who played in the grand final with a replica guernsey signed by the captain/coach. It of course comes with the C.O.A. from the St Kilda footy club

As it's packaged, it can be couried interstate (too big for Australia Post). Courier would cost around $200.

I am open to part trade and part cash on this item e.g. you may have other sports memorabilia (not necessarily St Kilda) that I will swap for.

Please note, whilst a number of you may be willing to swap your partner, I do consider this more a liability rather than a swap :D

Please PM me if interested or would like to discuss the purchase. You are welcome to collect the piece yourself from Northcote here in Melbourne.

This could well be the ultimate Christmas gift for yourself or if you're really generous to give to a friend or of course the Mrs and tell her it's because you always knew she wanted one

Well I have one on my wall and think how sad it is, that I have another collecting dust in its box when some Saints fan can admire it on their wall in pride of place.

Plus I am a fair person who knows it's worth more but happy with what I'm asking

Oh and Fidelius is good too

For everyone else that is on the forum.

Fidelius is my cat. He is a layenese which is half Himalayen and half tokinese.

anyway he is really cute and name him after the saints moto.

we call him Fid, or Fiddy for short!

i have a freddy poem which i will give you for nothing.....

As soon as Freddy gets out of bed,
his underwear goes on his head.
His mother laughs, "Don't put it there,
a head's no place for underwear!"
But near his ears, above his brains,
is where Freddy's underwear remains.

At night when Freddy goes back to bed,
he deftly plucks it off his head.
His mother switches off the light
and softly croons, "Good night! Good night!"
And then, for reasons no one knows,
Freddy's underwear goes on his toes.

.......

I have piece number 65 and yes it is a great item and well worth an investment of $2400 for any saints fan.

I am asusming it is the jumper signed by doc and Yabby framed with the pics surrounding and individual sigs under pics.

I am a very keen collector and this is one of my fav pieces.

Also keep in mind this can not be repeated due to the sad passing of Bongo Payze.

If you don't get any bites in the next two weeks PM me and I'll take it.

Hi

Right at this stage I have been overwhelmed with responses to my post and am in negotiations for the sale of the item.

I hadn't realised so much interest would come so quickly on this piece

Suggestion: Put it on ebay and post the link here. Take a lot of the pressure off.

saintfreddy, if you have that much interest, chuck it on eBay or have your own silent auction.

Chuck it on eBay, where it can be auctioned to a wide audience.

Or just have a silent auction yourself, and invite everyone who is interested to submit their highest bid to you, and then sell it to whoever is willing to pay the most.

You have a chance to make some cash (whether intentional or not), so make the most of it!
