I only download our wins so I haven't got the tackle on Judd.

He laid a great tackle against the Eagles in Banger's 350th though didn't he? I've got that game.

From memory Gilbert's tackle on Dudd was nominated for the army award that week, so you should be able to see it on the AFL website. Not completely sure though.

I do not know how he didnt fall over

That could have been a whole lot differnt if he did, he would have been caught with the ball

what an excitement machine

Its a rugby league dummy
lowers the ball on his left side gives the impression hes going to ground
but look at his legs he is actually still very balanced

another is to drag a trailing foot and side step off that which is what i was expecting by the way he approached the player

The trickery is in the way he drops his left shoulder and he plants his left foot on the ground, then he explodes off that left foot into the space as his opponent is unbalanced leaning the other way.

I haven't seen him do it on the other side of his body but if he could he would be twice as dangerous because then he'd obviously be running onto his natural foot.

I'm uploading a better quality version of the vid so it's down for a bit

edit: up now, but the quality doesn't seem any better.

That's awesome. It's much harder to evade players when you're running directly at them which is what he does. He really plants his foot and launches off it in the other direction.

In the 3rd quarter (harveys 350th) out on the wing (closest to camera), he spoils an attempted mark by Chick then does an awesome tackle on kerr who crumbed the bal

Highlight of the game i reckon (along with Kosi throwing himself around)
