Brownlow opinions, 2008 thoughts

Happy with trade week, big call but I think we now have the most depth we have had for as long as I can remember. We now have a mid level ruck division, where as since Everitt left we have always been down the lower end of the scale. Schneider should fit in well and allow some other players i.e Montagna, Gilbert etc to try to run down the ground a bit more. I think with a good year with injuries, suspensions and as long as we keep our game together we should definitley be a top 4 side for the next couple of years at least all going well.

But in saying that does anyone out there think that we have a player capable of winning a brownlow medal???? Riedwolt is arguably our best player, but midfielders will always attract votes....

Who cares about the brownlow really, even the players themselves just want a premiership. I Mean who remembers who won the 1954, 1964 or 1966 Brownlow winners (im sure some of you do) but we all know they were bulldogs, saints and melbournes last premierships.
