Delisted by the crows. Surely we would look at this kid as a rookie or that Bastanis guy from Port who was delisted. I understand some people rulectant in us getting 'used' players. Though look what Attard did from the rookie list, if we rookie them it doesn't take up a spot on list, and costs very little, thoughts?

''Pfeiffer, 20, has not played an AFL game in two seasons with Adelaide since he was drafted from Norwood with pick No 17 in the 2005 national draft.''

Very highly rated at the time, and If memory serves had a good draft camp(though I could be greatly mistaken).

Also was that our pick 17 traded for Fergus?(or is that a diff pick)

Must have some huge issues if he couldn't get a game in two years and was then delisted by the Crows after going at pick 17. No one on forums would really be able to comment, but just the fact that they have given up all hope after two years doesn't sound so promising.

Yeah has to be something. Seems very odd indeed. Didn't have a bad year for Norwood, got some class about him and decent skills, was highly rated at the time. Just doesn't make sense at the moment.

maybe adl have got the right idea and identify hacks in 2 years instead of waiting forever for them to reach their potential

Yep, he was selected with pick #17, which we gave the Crows for Watts.

Has serious discipline problems and some off-field issues. Crows haven't been able to sort him out.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.
