Yeah to be honest, looking at King, I always thought him to be some sort of neanderthal idiot ruckman, but listening just now he sounds quite intelligent and aerodite. Very clear speaker and sounds thrilled to be joining the club.

Easy for someone to say they are excited but to sound so happy was fantastic to hear.

Not having a go but it would be common sense to think he is a good communicator...

...He was Captain after all.....being intelligent would have to be a requisites.

Need I remind you that Matty Lloyd is a captain?

Its amazing what a st kilda jumper will do to the perception of a person's intellect, and ability. (not saying i'm not guilty of it either). :)

I know. Some people might even consider Stephen Milne to be not too intelligent.

Just listened to King on SEN.

s***, some of those 'professional' journalists are complete wankers.
Asking him if his ex-team-mates have any bitterness towards the club, (Cats) ?

What sort of stupid question is that ??

... he sounds genuinely happy & excited because he's been given the opportunity to continue playing footy - really good footy I hope :!:

come to think of it. while sheeds and malthouse were trying to recruit from ireland - how about the saints head to the congo and grab ourselves some gorillas. we could train them up.

he supposedly will be on The run home one SEN BUT it may just be a repeat.

- sounds like he's almost salivating about the midfielders he will be tappping down to.

It's a bit of excitement and spin.....he's prob. still a intoxicated after the GF win also!!!

It's a huge opportunity for him to play another 3 years of AFL footy if all goes really well, not to mention the little fact of half a million dollars ish in earnings that he wouldn't have got in retirement!!!
