Pardon me for not being excited but.....Charlie Gardner and Steven King???? God help us. What have we become....the dumping ground for players not good enough at their original clubs? Like the 80s.

Just in case you've been asleep the last few weeks Mooksy, King was picked AHEAD of Blake (who btw is still a better ruckman than either of Rix or Brooks) for the grannie. King at least held his own against Lade/Brogan. Perhaps for the first time in living memory we won't be bent over by the Port Adelaide ruck division next year.

And Gardiner - well I don't know much about him but he played in the VFL premiers and I'd be willing to bet he's at least on a par if not better than Watts, Brooks in the scrap for back-up FF.

All for pick #90 (i.e. nothing)

They have committed to taking Donohue as a Father/son pick. As no on else bid for him they can effectivley use any pick to take him. Perhaps they will now use pick 90 for donohue instead of their fourth rounder?
