How do both Voss and Black get onto the diversion program and Gehrig not....

I thought Gehrig and Lawrence haven't faced court yet...isn't Gehrig overseas atm?

Gehrig did face court and was denied the diversion program, now has to go court to face the charges.

don't understand the legal bs associated with this case but bootom line was as I understand Gehrig Voss and Black all had had no priors.

Voss on tape clearly king hit a guy, Black is alleged to have kicked another and both qualified to have their charges downgraded through a diversion program.

Gehrig who is alleged to have to have pushed ie not king hit or kicked someone is ruled ineligible to participate in the same diversion program.

I can't understand this it seems like absolute bs. to me maybe someone else can explain it .
