Have it from a close source that the following players are up for trade as they will note take us to a GF

Baker Had enough of his tribunal dates
L Fisher To slow and disposal RS
Fiora just not good enough
Milne one dimentional

Saints will try and get something for these players while they can ??????????

what total rubbish, word is Bakers contact is all written up and ready to sign, the club is just waiting for him to come back off holidays, which I believe is end of this week. It will be a done deal within a week.

but milne can play well when he wants to, he can be an awesome small forward!
baker playes really well when he is on the ground and not watching from the coaches box
fisher rarely misses a target and goes in for the ball like theres no tomorrow
fiora can take good defensive marks and also rarely misses the target, (except if he is having a shot at goal)

I would have thought the Saints would be offering for trade someone who has not been able to crack our Senior side, like Brooks and Watts, rather than players who are regulars in the Senior side. Although Gehrig going may save these two.

I never understood why this forum rates Fishers disposal, his decision making can be horrible, way too often does he handpass into a man who is completely covered by opposition players, as for going in for the ball...

GREAT NEWS, if we trade wisely

Facts are some hard decisions need to be made

We need to give up something to get something

Would not bother me in the slightest if any of those players were offloaded if we got something better in return

The fact is something needs to be done as we are soft, slow and not going to win a premiership with the list as it is

No room for sentimentatlity in our current predicament

We must secure some pace

For example

I 'd trade any one of those four players for Travis Varcou who is lightning quick, but Geelong wouldn't touch any one of them with a barge pole

THEY ARE A PREMIERSHIP TEAM and quite frankly, all four would struggle to get a game for Geelong, Baker might manage half a dozen but the rest of them would play the year out in their VFL side
