Trade with Coll?

Post: # 467110Post locoplayaz »

If Judd goes to Coll..

Would you take J.Fraser and B.Holland for Pick 9 and Saints 3rd OR 4th round pick? (Whichever gets the deal done)

That would give us a ruck combo of Gardi/Fraser and a speedy defensive mid/fwd who can tag along with Bakes. Add some much needed grunt and in Holland's last 3 seasons has avg 19ppg. Also would release Kosi to FF.
**After that we only need another small fwd..

Cats Premiership side

T.Harley/S.Fisher M.Scarlett/M.Hudghton J.Hunt/L.Fisher
A.Mackie/J.Gram D.Milburn/M.Maguire C.Enright/B.Goddard

S.Johnson/X.Clarke N.Ablett/N.Riewoldt J.Kelly/R.Harvey
M.Stokes/S.Milne C.Mooney/J.Koschitzke P.Chapman/(Small Fwd?)
B.Ottens/J.Fraser G.Ablett/N.Dal Santo J.Bartel/L.Ball
S.King/M.Gardiner J.Selwood/D.Armitage M.Rooke/A.Fiora S.Byrnes/S.Baker

A reminder Loco that Gardiner has played three games of AFL footy in four years. We'll be lucky to get him on th epark at all and if we do, it remains to be seen if he can hod a place in the team.

Doesn't Holland have some type of long-term injury which was possibly going to require surgery?? (could I be any more vague??)

holland isn't in collingwoods best 22. not worth it.

fraser IMO well Im interested but J.boy and others have alluded to him having a bad back injury despite being a robust player for nearly a decade.

love fraser but frankly busted back, so sad, too bad, we have our injury worries without another member to sit out the season in the st kilda wing of the epworth.

Fraser is 25/26 after 8 season...if fit has 5 to 6 seasons in him, throw fraser in with a first 22 kid and their first round pick and do a thorough medical on him.

IMO we should NOT do any trades unless its heavily skewed in our favour.

BARREL them IMO.

pretty sure I saw holland and licuria running around in their seconds side on Aunty a couple of weeks ago.

if we are going about having a crack at the flag, last thing we need to do is recruit for casey.

No way! Both have chronic, long term injuries (Fraser - low back, Holland - Achilles) and therefore are beyond their best.

I think that might be 18 games over the last 4 seasons including 2007.

36 over the last 5.

If we get Brodie Holland do we get Sarita Stella? That would sweeten the deal.

What we have to settle for 'seconds' all around?

Judd - Holland
Twigley - Stella

One of my mates loves Didak, and as a joke i have been saying that Pies are trading Didak, He has the number 4 on his back and he said the guernsay is going in the fire, i would love Didak t be traded, not that i want him or anything, i would rather a

Pendlebury, Thomas, Marty Clarke, even Nick Maxwell before Didak

I'm sure RL won't look at any more players with chronic injuries or fringe players.

Don't really think it's worth giving up pick 9 unless the deal involves Thomas or Pendlebury.

It is actually......ok.....let me pour some water on the fire. Thomas and Pendlebury signed.....not going anywhere. Not just signed, SIGNED. We have a few things going on at the minute. Not having high draft picks is not our immediate concern.

And yes it is a funny thread.......
