Just curious.
How many votes did Roo's competitors for 'tall forward' in the AA team get?

Pavlich
Franklin
Brown
Lucas
Mooney

Not that Brownlow votes have any bearing on AA team selections.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Lenny wouldn't be a bad early bet for next year.

Polled 8 votes in the last 8 games and looked like he was returning to 05/06 form.

If he carries that through into next year, he will finish with 18-20 votes and that would give him a decent chance at winning the medal.

Gee Dal Santo polls well. I'd have thought Montagna should've gotten more votes & I can't believe Sam Fisher couldn't even get 1. Even Jason Gram should've received a few early in the season I thought.

You can never predict.

I think that Harves should have had more votes, considering his early season form. There were games where he had 35 possessions and didn't poll one vote.

I was gonna start a new thread re Frazer not being included in the group of retiring players. Surely his stats and games would be worth a mention. If they are gonna read out retirees, the all players should be included - not just the media love childs. And what about AT? No mention.

I hate the AFL, the Brownlow, the umpires and every other club. They all suck.

and the 25 others who have retired.
more vision of Bucks- who hasn't retired than of the retirees

and BTW great polling from Fraser= what are his stas for the Brownlow?

Pleasantly surprised to see Jimmy Gwilt get a Brownlow vote. He only played a handfull of games. That vote puts him in front on many who played every game and never got amongst the best even once.

They are picking on us again. Everyone picks on the Saints. The Saints picked on us for sure. We finished 9th and got the 8th most votes.

yep dont have a problem with the votes.

suprised dal got so many and harvey got so few, I thought he would be around 10 when he did his hammy.

I think the game he got 31 possessions = no votes ><

It doesn't surprise that Dal received more votes than Rooey.
Although it doesn't make sense.
The Brownlow is now confirmed as a midfielders award.
Hard for any other possy to get a look in.
