With 5 retirees and supposed 2 delistings and a certain amount of money left to spend on 1 elite player. What would you do?
Needs-Ruckman,KP defender, half forward, forward pocket and a couple of quick mids.
Pick 9 wanted by other clubs would you go for established players eg-Fraser,King,Fevola & Haselby.
Or would you go for young talent only.Or perhaps a mix?
What would you do, who would you trade for and what would you give?

i'd be looking at the kids first and only trade pick 9 if something irrestable was offered

id be worried about trading for players who would be

1. billetted at the epworth on arrival

2. looking at the 2008 wage as a pension year before retiring.

I agree 100%

We might be able to snag someone to fill one of our obvious needs (ruckman & fast midfielder) with pick 9 but failing that then surely we have to look for the best kid (to suit our needs!)

The best available player aged less than 24, with no injury history. And keep selecting on that basis.

I would be inclined to stick with the kids at this stage. Unless there are any Frazer Gehrigs or Aaron Hamills that want to trade clubs. We have picked up too many poor players at trade week. Particularly those with poor attitude.
