We offer pick 9, and a player I guess, (no idea who), and .........
our first pick in next years draft, in return Judd now and for what

[Note: In the US, they apparently swap future draft picks.]
An excellent point Saint 58... I had forgotten all about the new rule that allows the following year's 1st round pick to be traded.

A bit of a mystery for both sides though... do the Eagles risk giving a club Judd & him not having an impact (meaning a better pick for them) & does a club risk having a shocking year & having an early pick head across the Nullabour???

If this did occur & the Eagles accepted it then it may give some insight into how well they believe his injury will recover!

It's obviously not a rule, but there's nothing to stop two clubs coming to an "in-principle" agreement to deal next year's pick for a player.

Was being discussed by the AFL at one stage during this season, though. Someone else may be able to help with how far it has moved on since then.

Wow how childish are you?

Exactly -

And this tosser is asking how old I am....What an idiot.

Everyone ALWAYS says Collingwood and Carlton....Funny how everyone takes the Media's speculation as gospel.

Yeh it might happen. Hope it dosnt. But more importantly I seriously fail to understand how everyone gets so fixed on who the media think Chris Judd wants to play for.
